Terms of Use

1. Who we are and how you accept

One Minute X ("app", "we") is a social network of audios up to 1 minute long, operated by Saulo Tasso Mourão Freire. Contact: oneminutex.oficial@gmail.com.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. This acceptance forms a contract between you and One Minute X. The Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines are part of these Terms.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. We may use reasonable means to confirm age and close accounts of minors.

You declare that your account information is true and that you have not been previously banned from the app.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your login and for what is done with your account. Let us know if you notice misuse.

Your @ cannot impersonate another person, brand or institution, or violate third-party rights.

4. The service

The app lets you record, publish, listen to and reply to audios of up to 1 minute, create threads, join public and private communities, publish longer shows in communities, exchange direct messages in audio and text, and use automatic translation.

The service may change. When a relevant change removes something you use, we will give reasonable notice.

5. Your content and the license you grant us

Your content is yours. You remain the owner of the audios, texts and images you publish.

By publishing, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcribe, translate, adapt the format of, display, distribute and promote the content, in order to operate, promote and improve One Minute X — including the artificial intelligence systems that make the app work (clause 6).

We only share this use with providers that help us operate the app (hosting, transcription, notifications), and only for that.

The license ends when you delete the content or the account, except for: backups for up to 90 days, content others have already shared or replied to, and retention required by law.

We do not license your audios to third parties to train artificial intelligence. If we ever offer that, it will be an optional program, with separate permission, turned off by default.

You guarantee that you hold the rights to what you publish, including the voice and image of others that appear in the content.

6. Artificial intelligence in the app

We use AI to transcribe and translate audios, recommend content, detect spam and abuse, and moderate what breaks the rules. This use is necessary to provide the service.

Automatic translations and transcriptions may contain errors and do not replace the original audio, which is always the reference.

7. Cloned voices, deepfakes and synthetic content

Publishing another person's cloned or synthetic voice without permission, creating audio deepfakes, or misleading people about the authenticity of content is prohibited.

8. Zero tolerance for abusive content

It is prohibited to publish or do: illegal content; abuse or exploitation of children and teenagers; incitement to violence, hate or discrimination; harassment and threats; disclosure of other people's personal data; scams, spam and engagement manipulation; violation of copyright, image or voice rights; explicit sexual content; and automated collection of content (scraping), use of bots or extraction of app data without our written permission.

Content that breaks these rules may be removed without notice, and the accounts responsible may be suspended or deleted. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.

9. Reports, moderation and communities

You can report audios and profiles through the "⋯" menu and block users. Serious cases are reviewed within 24 hours.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the law, explaining the reason whenever possible. You can appeal through the contact email.

Whoever creates a community commits to moderating it according to these rules. We may remove posts, members or the entire community in case of violation.

10. The app's intellectual property

The One Minute X brand, logo, design and software belong to One Minute X. These Terms do not give you the right to use them outside the app.

11. Liability

Each user is responsible for what they publish. We follow Brazil's Marco Civil da Internet: we remove content when there is a court order, and we also act on our own when content violates these Terms.

We do our best to keep the app running, but failures and interruptions can happen. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights guaranteed by consumer protection law.

12. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → "Delete my account". We may close accounts that violate these Terms. After deletion, the periods in clause 5 and in the Privacy Policy apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We will announce relevant changes in the app in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account. Any new use of your data that requires consent will require new consent.

14. App stores

Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app or its content. Questions and complaints should be sent to One Minute X.

15. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The venue is the consumer user's place of residence. Contact and data protection officer: oneminutex.oficial@gmail.com.
